Phonak EON

Phonak EON delivers proven speech-in-noise clarity in a smaller, lighter design with wind-noise reduction, all-day battery, and Auracast support.

The Phonak EON is Phonak's newest hearing aid, built to help you follow conversations clearly even in the noisiest settings. It is the third generation of Phonak's Sphere technology, and it carries forward the same strong speech-in-noise performance in a design that is noticeably smaller and lighter than before. Beyond its compact size, EON offers upgraded automatic sound adjustment, advanced wind-noise reduction, and broad wireless connectivity, including native support for Auracast public broadcasts. It fits a wide range of hearing needs, from mild all the way through profound hearing loss.

Hearing Clearly in Noisy Places

Restaurants, family gatherings, and busy streets are some of the hardest places to hear well. The Phonak EON uses dedicated AI processing to separate speech from background noise, strengthen the voices you want to hear, and blend them back together for clearer listening.

In Phonak's testing, this technology delivered up to 50% better speech understanding compared with traditional directional microphone hearing aids, along with up to 37% less listening effort. That reduction in effort matters, because straining to hear all day can leave you tired and drained. EON is also designed to make you up to two times more likely to understand speech coming from any direction, not just from in front of you.

Smaller, Lighter, and More Comfortable

One of the biggest changes with EON is its size. The hearing aid is 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the previous Sphere generation, making it more discreet and comfortable to wear throughout the day. It comes in a standard rechargeable receiver-in-canal style and is available in eight color options to match your preference. On a single charge, EON provides all-day power, up to approximately 22 hours of use even with demanding streaming and time in noisy environments. A full charge takes about 2.5 hours, and an optional portable charging case with its own built-in battery keeps you powered up when you are away from home.

Adjusting Automatically to Your Day

Your listening environment changes constantly, moving from a quiet room to a noisy hallway to the outdoors. EON is designed to keep up with those changes on its own, adapting quickly as you move so you do not have to reach up and change settings manually. It also works to keep the speech-in-noise feature active in more situations where it can help you most.

Wind is one of the toughest challenges for outdoor listening, and EON tackles it with advanced wind-noise reduction. The technology lowers the rushing, blustery sound that wind creates across the microphones, up to 50 dB less wind noise, while still preserving the speech and environmental sounds you want to hear. In Phonak's testing, more than 90% of participants preferred it for its natural sound.

Staying Connected Wherever You Go

The Phonak EON keeps you connected to the devices and places that matter. It pairs with a wide range of Bluetooth phones, computers, tablets, and televisions, and it can act as a hands-free headset for calls and video conferencing. With native Auracast support, EON can tune directly into public audio broadcasts in places like airports, theaters, museums, houses of worship, and conference centers, so announcements and performances come through clearly. It also supports Phonak's Roger microphones for extra help in especially challenging listening situations, and works with the myPhonak app for easy control and adjustments.

Is Phonak EON Right for You?

EON is a strong choice if you struggle to hear in restaurants or noisy gatherings, spend time outdoors where wind is a problem, or stream calls and media throughout the day. Its wide fitting range and CROS compatibility mean it can serve many different types of hearing loss, including single-sided hearing.
