Oticon Reveal

Oticon Reveal uses dual-AI processing to enhance speech while preserving the sounds around you, with improved feedback control and streaming.

The Oticon Reveal is Oticon's next-generation rechargeable hearing aid, designed for people who want clearer conversations without losing touch with the world around them. Rather than stripping away as much background sound as possible, Reveal works to find your personal balance between speech clarity and environmental awareness, what Oticon calls your "balance point." This receiver-in-canal device introduces a new dual-AI sound processing system, improved feedback control, and enhanced wireless connectivity. It represents Oticon's third generation of AI-based hearing technology, following the Oticon More and Oticon Intent platforms.

How the Dual-AI System Works

Most hearing aids treat background noise as the enemy. Oticon Reveal takes a different approach by using two artificial intelligence systems that work side by side in real time.

The first system, Speech AI, identifies and enhances the voices you want to hear. The second, Context AI, preserves the meaningful sounds around you, things like a car approaching, a doorbell, or footsteps behind you. Together, these systems analyze your sound environment every two milliseconds (that's 500 times per second) and blend speech and surroundings into a natural listening experience.

This processing happens in a part of the hearing aid Oticon calls the Reveal AI Clarifier, which replaces the MoreSound Intelligence system found in earlier Oticon devices.

Better Feedback Control

Feedback is the whistling or squealing sound that hearing aids sometimes produce, and it is one of the most common frustrations for wearers. The Reveal Optimizer is Oticon's updated system for preventing it.

Improved feedback management matters for a practical reason: it gives your audiologist more room to provide the amplification your hearing loss actually calls for without triggering whistling. This is especially valuable for open or vented fittings, where the ear canal is left partially unblocked for a more natural, less plugged-up feeling.

4D Sensor Technology

Reveal continues to use Oticon's 4D sensors, which read what you are doing and where you are before deciding how to process sound. The hearing aid considers your conversation activity, head movement, body movement, and the acoustic environment around you, then adapts accordingly. Sitting quietly at home and walking through a busy street call for different responses, and the sensors help Reveal make that adjustment automatically.

Streaming and Connectivity

Reveal includes a redesigned connectivity platform and radio transmitter, delivering greater streaming range and steadier connections compared with the previous generation. In everyday terms, that means fewer dropouts when your phone is in another room or tucked in a bag.

The new Streaming Comfort feature automatically reduces the volume of sounds around you while audio is streaming, keeping phone calls, music, and podcasts clear and prominent. You can adjust how much reduction you want through the mobile app, or your audiologist can set it during your fitting.

For those with hearing in only one ear, the new Oticon CROS transmitter picks up sound from the unaidable side and sends it to your better ear. It uses the same desk and travel chargers as the Reveal hearing aid, so there is only one charging routine to remember.

Is Oticon Reveal Right for You?

Oticon Reveal tends to suit patients who value natural, open sound quality and want to stay aware of their surroundings. It is a strong option if you want clearer speech without background sound being aggressively removed, if you prefer open or vented fittings, or if reliable wireless streaming is important to your daily routine.

If your priority is the strongest possible reduction of background noise, a different processing approach may serve you better. Our audiologist can walk you through the trade-offs and help you decide.
